Designed to enhance trainer effectiveness by incorporating and utilising aspects of NLP, this program initiates a paradigmatic shift in thinking and behaviour and supports trainers in developing and generating excellent communication skills at all levels.
Fundamental to NLP is the introduction of a model that teaches people not so much what to think and communicate as how to think and communicate. One of the causes of low performance is difficulty in keeping up with rapid change. It can seem that this is a problem of dealing with changes in content ~ the 'what' of things. At some point a threshhold is reached, where people find they can't cope. What is needed is a paradigmatic shift ~ a change in context ~ that gives flexibility in terms of how to handle that continuous change.
A model that teaches people how to think and communicate gives them far greater effectiveness. Such a paradigmatic shift allows existing skills to be used with better results and also gives rise to new skills. Once people understand how to communicate to produce results, they generate new and effective ways of doing that in response to new situations.
This introduction to NLP not only provides trainers with the opportunity to develop that flexibility themselves, but also shows them how to stimulate that capacity for change in their own students.
Topics covered include:
Influence patterns, rapport (at the unconscious level, so not limited to conscious 'liking' or agreement), representational systems, languaging, values (dealing with what is important to people and what motivates them and how to motivate oneself and others), agreement and behavioural frames, presuppositional thinking and communication, lateral thinking, hierarchy of ideas, body language, tonal language, useful presuppositions for achieving results and keys to achievable outcomes.
What other people say:
'On behalf of myself and my twelve managers, thank you both for a week of hard work, fun, change, challenge, growth in our own awareness, and some serious team building.' Ê
'You have been responsible for a quantum shift in the skill levels of the managers and have left them with a real sense of purpose and direction nothing short of a miracle, given that it was all done in just five days.' '
Further, I was impressed with the depth of the pre-course preparation that ensured that the needs of the individuals and the group as a whole were well and truly met.'
'The processes that you used coupled with your skills as trainers ensured that the maximum shifts in awareness and skill levels were achieved.'
'I have no hesitation in recommending this course or you as skilled individuals to any company or organisation looking for some real training that has total relevance to the business world.'
